On
the 12th of May, (25th ns), 2008, the feast day of St. Epiphanios of
Cyprus and the Sunday commemoration of the Samaritan Woman, in
the temple of St. Xenia in the city of Limassol,
Cyprus, Archimandrite Seraphim was consecrated to the episcopacy and
given the title, Metropolitan of Kiev, by Metropolitan Kirykos of
Mesogaias and Lavreotikis with the full participation of Bishop
Gerontios of Vrancea (Romania) and Bishop Matthew of Kenya.
